I have been a patient of Dr. Bender for quite a few years. After relocating (1400 miles) and due to the flexibility of my employer, I continue to maintain my dental care with Dr. Bender's office due to the professionalism and excellent patient care received.
I appreciate Dr. Bender based on his preventative and direct approach to my dental care. I usually have a list of questions and he patiently reviews them with straightforward and personable replies. He is willing to take the time to explain processes and the decisions / recommendations he makes.
As importantly, I greatly value the staff. They are very flexible, patient and have the ability / willingness to answer questions, juggle the appointment schedule and address insurance inquiries. Phone calls are always returned within a very short period of time, insurance and invoices are processed in a timely fashion and the time in the wait room is very very brief. The office is clean, modern and equipment is updated.
Let me say that I have an extreme fear of needles--and dentists. I know no one likes them, but I just about cry out of fear when I have to go. I know, "grow up", but it is what it is.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Bender. Kind, caring, and he explains EVERYTHING to you. I expressed what a baby I was, and they didn't make me feel badly about it. Best of all: I didn't feel a thing!! This has NEVER happened to me, as I have very sensitive teeth.
I had a large silver filling removed (that was cracking) and had a crown done- ON SITE. They now have state of the art technology that allows them to mill it right away (20 min wait). SO COOL. I watched tv while it was being made.
Seriously, this guy is the real deal. I HIGHLY recommend him.
Dr. Bender's and his staff were very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. It is always a bit scary going to a dentist for a first visit but I left feel reassured and comfortable I will definitely be returning!
